The market of RSS reader in China is also crowded as it is in sillcon valley, and new competitors continue to enter this market. The following is the list of major RSS readers in China. Though the list is far from completed, I hope all the key players in the market are included.
- Gougou: We profiled it on Nov 14.
- Kantianxia: One of the first-mover in RSS reader market in China, providing web-based RSS reader, desktop RSS reader and Outlook-based reader.
- Boyue: Web-based reader with special features as Tag Aggregation(主题聚合) and Job Hunting(求职通) service cooperated with some job hunting site.
- Potu: Desktop reader with its web-based version underdeveloping, Potu provides customized service to users to create their customized-branded desktop RSS reader.
- RSShow: Web-based reader
- OKRSS: Web-based reader with ajax technology similar to Netvibes, has a desktop reader as well.
- Sina DDT: Desktop reader developed by Sina (Nasdaq:Sina)
- Bokee’s RSS Reader: Web-based reader by Bokee.
- Yesky Gogo: Web-based reader by Yesky, one of the major vertical portal on IT

potu online sucks. it officially announced that they would be online in early oct. and now it’s in middle nov.
A good integration of RSS and search from OKRSS.
