Don’t Just Talk At Me, Talk With Me

“Don’t just talk at me, talk with me”. It is one of the 8 new rules for success in China’s changing branding environment summarized by marketing firms Landor Associates and Cohn & Wolfe, as outcome of the conference of Fifth China Branding Roundtable by the Economist Conferences.

They interviewed many speakers and experts on the conference, and made videos for each rule. Here is the video on rule “Don’t just talk at me, talk with me”. (RSS reader users may need to visit blog post to watch the embeded videos)

And video on rule about online crisis communication.

You can also find all the videos on 8 rules on Youku (with Chinese subtitles) or on Youtube (without Chinese subtitles).

It is also interesting to see the conference itself is using social media, such as blogs and videos, to build its online branding. But they can do it better, for example, to make a playlist of videos for promotion. (embed below)
