SubscribeBaidu News: New Search Interface
Baidu(NASDAQ: BIDU) introduce a new search interface(百度新闻专题) today in Baidu News Search.
Baidu now extracts the keywords from search result as tags to cluster the results. Since the news search results change everyday, the extraction and clustering will also change accordingly. By my test, the keywords extracted are still not satisfying. Besides that, Baidu also integrates news image search results into the page. Both function and UI design have much room to improve.
Will Baidu integrate this extraction technology into its web search results?
