126 Mail For Your Domain… But Not Free
When I knew Sogou started to offer customized email domain service, I expect that Netease will provide similar offering soon, since Netease runs serval popular email service in China, including 163.com, 126.com. Yes, less than a month, Netease’s 126 mail for your domain has gone live today.
To use the service, you need to have a 126 free mail account as admin account first, then you can sign up and change your domain’s MX record to host your email service on 126 mail. Each domain will have 100G storage, while Sogou’s service allows you to create unlimited users with 1G storage for each one. Netease also let you to customize homepage for login in to email under your domain.
Unfortunately, according to the term of service, it seems the service is not free, but Netease has yet announce the charge rate for the service. 188 mail, a premium email service by Netease, charge users from RMB 6 yuan to 60 yuan per month based on different package. So does it make sense for you to pay money to host your domain mail in 126.com?
