Gary of Toodou write a terrific post(in English) after reading the Ozzie’s Memo and the news about Yahoo’s acquisition of del.icio.us.

He analyzed what the monsters like Google, Yahoo and Microsoft will do to capture the web2.0 wave, forecasted what will happen in the next two years:

1. Blog/Podcast will be completedly integrated into Microsoft Windows/office platform. Just like what MSN Spaces has done to a single service player like Blog Service Provider, Podcast will become an application for MSN messenger.

2.RSS becomes common API: Microsoft, Google, Yahoo, all these major companies directly facing the end consumers, will implement RSS throughout their existing applications and services to realize the core abilities of subscribing, pull and push.

And finnaly, where is Toodou going?

Toodou will do tools, but we will be open when big guys roll out better tools. Before they do, we will have the best of the breeds.

Toodou will be ready to plug into common APIs. When P2P becomes a part of Windows Vista, when blog/RSS becomes even more integrated into MSN, when Podcast becomes a part of spaces/powertoys, we will be there.
