SubscribeWikipedia Unblocked, But Gmail…May Have Problem
The Chinese Wikipedia has been fully unblocked since Nov. 9th afternoon. About one year ago, Chinese Wikipedia was blocked by GFW in 2005 October. In the year, the growth of number of articles in Chinese Wikipedia has slowed down significantly, and was surpassed by Russian version.
Previously in last month, English and other language Wikipedia has been unblocked in China. Hope it will help the number of articles in Chinese wikipedia exceed 100,000 soon.
However, in last week, many bloggers reported that they can not received email from Gmail. The problem mainly involved Netease’s email (163 email and 126 email) and Sina’s email service. It is not sure whether the problem was caused by GFW or by those email service provider (since other email service in China don’t have such problem).
Update: Wikipedia has been blocked again.

In Beijing, Wikipedia is blocked again as of yesterday (18-Nov-2006).
Similar problem in Shanghai?
