Kuaiche.com: Competitor of Xunlei.com

KuaicheFlashget, a very popular download accelerator and management software in China, rolled out a download platform Kuaiche.com recently. Kuaiche.com allows users to use Flashget software to download movies, mp3, softwares, game clients from its Kuaiche.com. You should use Flashget 1.80 or above, because it start to support BT download from 1.80.

As Xunlei.com, Flashget doesn’t own all those contents and resources, it just indexes bittorrent seeds of movies, softwares and other large files and mp3 files from web. So in fact, Kuaiche.com is a search engine for bittorrent files, mp3 and user-generated videos, which is obviously a competitor to Xunlei.com.

Flashget used to be the most popular download management software in China, but since last year, Xunlei has seized significant market share in this market thanks to its p2p feature and excellent download speed. To compete with Xunlei, Flashget added BT download support in its latest 1.80 version after ZCom, an emagazine platform service provider, acquire Flashget in July 2006. Though Xunlei is currently the leader in the market, and Google China will announce its investment in Xunlei, Flashget is still a significant competitor to Xunlei for its extensive user base.
