Feedsky To Launch Blog Network and More

Feedsky, the counterpart of Feedburner in China, is private testing blog network and other new features.

Feedsky Blog network is not a new idea, which is similar to Feedburner’s Networks, it enable bloggers with similar interests to create their own community. Any Feedsky’s users can create one blog network and join three networks at most. If you create or join any blog networks, the posts in your feed will appear in both your personal feed and feed of blog network. Feedsky’s blog network is still in its early stage, I expect that more interactive features will be added gradually.

At the same time, Feedsky will also add feature as Feedburner’s Feedflare, which enable publishers to easily add more interactivity in their feed. As you may know, hundreds of developers have create various Feedflares through Feedburner’s open API. It is no doubt that Feedsky will also provide open API, but it has never been easy in China for a startup to promote its open API.

Yes, Feedsky learned much from Feedburner. I can feel its substantial progress in last year. It now can maintain a stable service, and keep adding new feature. I know they are planning more interactivity functions, advertising network and more service for publishers in 2007. And they are establishing more partnership with foreign companies, such as Feedster and Pageflakes. So, remember to keep an eye on them.
