X2Blog is an opensource ajax powered blogware for you to set up your own blogs, it is just listed as a SourceForge project.
X2blog is completely based on AJAX and asp.net technology, you can do everything without refreshing your page or open a new window, including view articles, comments or post your comments or messages. All transports is transfered by javascript xmlhttp and xml
This ajax-rich application, based on asp.net platform, is database independent, you can easily change the database from Microsoft Access to any database supported by .net framework database access interface.
It has all the basic functions of a blogware, including RSS feed, trackback, theme support, customized CSS design. By configuring the properties of any category of blog, you can change a category into a build-in BBS. Though it said to be fully compatible with Firefox, but I encountered the problem of WYSIWYG editor when using Firefox.
X2blog has personal version and multi-blog version. Currently, only personal version is opensource and available for download, and the developer build a blog hosting service with its multi-blog version.
