Yahoo Club Launches, Localization Means Strip Down

Yahoo ClubYahoo China just launched Club corresponding to its US version of Groups. Now I am having problem, which one I should use.

Currently it only has two main features: a forum and a photo album. While lots of useful features are missing. Group homepage doesn’t have understandable URL, which is replaced with meaningless series of numbers. This makes no way for branding the group by yourself.

There’s no RSS and email. You hear right, there’s no way to receive and post message via email. I have been looking back and forth to confirm that I understand right it is the corresponding product of Yahoo Groups.

Yes, there’s no way to complain, because Yahoo has said they will add more features going forward. But the features being shown at launch time should tell what it is all about. Now this product is just like hosting private forums.
