Three Digg-like Sites in China

Dingr is the latest Chinese site who want to be the China’s digg.com and copy its success, besids Dingr, as far as I know, there are at least two sites share the same dream: 17dig, the first digg-like site in China, and diglog.

Who will win the competition? I have no idea, maybe it depends on who can build up the community atmosphere first and who has the best spam control system. As you may know, most social bookmarking sites in China have been dominated by spam, their front page are full of erotic links. In order to be a useful digging site, they should have a good spam control system to attract more contributive diggers and build up the positive atmosphere of digging community.

I am the owner of tagriver.com, thanks echochen for refering tagriver.com.

Although the UI appearance of tagriver is similiar as digg.com, if you explore much deeper, you may find that we are doing different thing from digg. We are targeting to be a new type media which is dominated totally by users themself, and we provide dozens of functions that digg doesn’t have for now, such as importing articles from user’s blog, trackback from tagriver to user’s blog, group functions etc.

Be sure to check it out in tagriver.com
