QQ To Enter CRM Service Market
QQ, being the most popular IM client in China, has been used by many local companies as an efficient way to communicate with their customers online. Some companies even have to maintain several QQ account simultaneously, because they reach the limit of number of buddies of a QQ account. Now, QQ plans to launch its small business-targeted CRM service.
QQ CRM service starts its private test on May 28th, about 1,000 users are permitted to use and test this new service. Based on limited information I can find, it seems it is a web-based IM service, users can add unlimited buddies, and each account will have several sub-account, then every customer service staffs in companies can have their own sub-account. Besides basic IM service, QQ CRM also provide some analytics tools for companies to better manage customer relationship.
QQ is mainly regarded as an entertainment tool by users, Tencent has tried many means to expend into business market, by its Tencent Messenger(TM), RTX and other services. It seems TM and RTX are not so successful, but I think quite a few small businesses may welcome this CRM service, since it could satisfy their explicit demands for online communication with clients.
