NGI Closed Series A Funding

NGINetwork Game Interaction (NGI), a Beijing-based in-game advertising service provider founded in 2005, recently announced that it completed its series A funding of about $10 million from GSR Ventures.(via China Venture)

NGI cooperates with about 50 top Chinese online games, including MMORPG and leisure games, to provide online ads inside games. NGI claims its partnered online games cover over 70% of Chinese game players. Since 2006, NGI has partnered with AC-Nielsen to offer ads measurement and analytical services to clients.

NGI has obtained exclusive rights to use GameBlaster platform from Connect’In Advertising since 2006. It is said from the report that the proceeding will be used to acquire GameBlaster platform from Connect’In, but not details was disclosed.

Early this month, another in-game ads service provider Captiv8 also finished its funding.
