An Interview with CWR on Danwei
Danwei, one of the most famous blogs on China’s media, news and urban life, recently conducted an interview with us. Jeremy asked several questions on China’s Internet and trends in industry, including the future of Myspace China and Google China, which web 2.0 companies may succeed, the influence of censorship on the development of web 2.0 in China, and etc.
Well, all of them are not easy to answer, esp. for the questions on promising web 2.0 companies, I only mentioned companies I’m familiar with. And it seems that I forgot some companies with great potential, for example, Hongkong-based Editgrid, which just release a dynamic image feature. So maybe we should make a list of editor’s choice for China’s web 2.0 companies.
If you have any opinion on the interview, just leave a comment to share your ideas with us, thanks.

Glad to see douban making the top of the list- I also think it is one of the best Web 2.0 sites in China. I was curious to know what their “clear revenue model” is. Are you referring to affiliate marketing or its potential to sell books directly online? In any case, it is a fantastic site and thanks for the interesting viewpoints.
