Barcamp Shanghai 2 To Take Place In Tudou Warehouse

Barcamp ShanghaiBarcamp Shanghai 2, the second localized event of barcamp in Shanghai, will be held on September 8th 2007 in Tudou warehouse. The last event took place in Sept. 2006 in the same place. It was fantastic, and we are going to make it happen again with solid confidence, reasonable effort and budget.

To attend the event, the easiest way is to RSVP at the Facebook event page. Also join the facebook group to interact with other barcampers ahead of the event. If you don’t use Facebook, I can’t imagine a reason for this unless you work for its competitor, please email your personal information to Robert Scales.

If you are interested in sponsoring the event, please contact Jon Hancock. The sponsorship package is inexpensive. You are going to see how the budget is spent.

As always, the event is aiming to provide a speaking opportunity to the massive attendees. Every session is decided early in the morning according to the attentions you can win from the audience. You can leave early, but don’t come late.

There aren’t going to be all IT sessions. We make art. I’m sure Kris Krug is going to do photo session again. Bring your expensive photo gadgets. This will be a good opportunity to learn how to take advantage of those stuffs to their full capacity.

This year we are available to host up to 150 people. So look forward to seeing all the old and new barcampers.

    The Todou crew has been extremly helpful again. Aether has managed to get a decision from the ceo within minutes.There will be a lot of space for the sessions. Todou abslutely rocks!

    I’m very excited about Barcamp Shanghai and will definitely do a photography session again this year if people are interested. :)
