China’s 1000Tags

Thanks to blogosphere, any innovative idea can diffuse in a much faster rate than ever. Just 7 days after Techcrunch introduced 1000tags.com, a Chinese registered 1000tags.cn and provide exactly identical service as 1000tags.com(via neweb2.cn). So far, no tag in 1000tags.cn was sold. The tags in its homepage is for demo only.

There are many MillionDollarHomepages duplicate sites in China, but it seems none of them is successful. Will 1000tags.cn succeed? I don’t think so. Not only because of it is a copycat, but also because of the underdevelopment of online longtail advertising market in China.
